Nandamuri Kalyanram and Kajal Aggarwal starrer MLA, Manchi Lakshnalunna Abbayi came out on 23rd March. The movie looked more like his Pataas but as per the talk, it missed being that funny.
Fans of the actors are also not completely satisfied with the film as it did not have much coherent script as they would have wanted.
Still, the movie showed that the star power and season can bring in a good opening at the box office.
MLA collected a gross of 5.2 crores and a share of 3.3 crores at the Box Office on debut. This is the highest opening day for Nandamuri Kalyanram beating ISM.
But the movie has to collect 15 crores share domestically and 18 crores share Worldwide to be categorised as a hit.
The talk of the movie is not so encouraging for the movie to be able to do so. It may earn good returns from B and C centres as there are no other films that can challenge it in those areas.
Kirrak Party is more youthful film that completed 9 days run, Needi Naadi Oke Kadha got good reviews and seemed to be more 'A' centres film.
