Chiranjeevi & Mohan Babu are known to be the Tom & Jerry in the Telugu Film Industry. They, however, surprised everybody by showering praises and showing affection on each other at Yesterday's event to mark Collection King's 40 Years Celebration.

Chiranjeevi: 'Mohan Babu is a dear friend of mine. Here, The felicitation isn't for Mohan Babu but to discipline, hardwork and determination. 40 years isn't a joke. Film Entry isn't a path of roses but thorns. He proved anything could be achieved with sheer determination. His book was unveiled in London parliament and that's a huge honour. He asked Me to write a few words about his journey in that book. I feel it as a honour. People publicize we have differences and we are like Tom & Jerry , but we have nothing against each other in our hearts'.

Mohan Babu: 'I was born in Modugulapalem near Kalahasti. After completing B.A, I joined in a job at Madras. Within an year, I was sacked just because I don't belong to his caste. There were times I slept on the platform. Then, I wanted to be an actor and began my journey as Assistant Director for a pay of Rs 50 per six months. I had only one pair of clothes then and wasn't in a position to pay room rent. Till 'Swargam Narakam', I worked so hard and don't even have proper food to eat. So far, I acted in over 550 films and producer more than 60 movies. I have been to Parliament. I share a great rapport with NTR and ANR. I mortgaged my properties to produce 'Major Chandrakanth' and promised NTR that I will make him CM with that movie. Ramanaidu is my inspiration behind turning into a Producer. He advised Me to pay the amount promised to the whole unit without fail irrespective of success/failure. Chiranjeevi is my close pal. We haven't done any harm to each other. I pray for the well-being of his family. I will organize Chiru's 40 Years Celebrations in Tirupati'.
