Mohan Babu Opens Up On Dasari's Will

Dasari Talent Academy 2019 conducted Short Film Contest. Mohan Babu, Jayasudha, Tammareddy, R Narayana Murthy and C Kalyan attended the Prize Distribution for the winners. While 'Pasupu-Kunkuma' bagged First Prize (Rs 1 lakh), 'Matrudevobhava' won Second Prize (Rs 50,000) and 'Thatha Manavadu' received Third Prize (Rs 25,000). First Jury Award and Second Jury Award Winners were offered Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000. While Best Director received Rs 20,000, Rs 10,000 each was offered for Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Writer.
Mohan Babu claimed he build Asia's best auditorium in Tirupati with a seating capacity of 500 in memory of Dasari. He offered free education for a Student suggested by Dasari Talent Academy from LKG to Intermediate.
On this occasion, Collection King recalled: 'I used to tell Dasari..we should live in your shadow forever. On My 40th Anniversary Celebrations, Dasari told Me that I should take care of everything after his death. In his Will, Dasari mentioned My Name and that of Murali Mohan to ensure injustice doesn't happen to any of his children. We were able to do some, but failed to do the rest due to our inability'.
