Mohan Babu and Rajasekhar were supposed to play the lead roles in 'Hanuman Junction'. Editor Mohan who was the producer of that project had even paid advances to them. Still, The multi-starrer in this combination was shelved. What happened actually?
After Rajasekhar signed the project, Mohan Babu invited him for lunch one fine day. Collection King asked the Angry Young Man to be punctual while shooting for the project. That's when Rajasekhar said to Mohan Babu that it's better if they don't work together as one of them is punctual and the other one arrives late to the sets. Finally, They both reached the conclusion that their friendly relations might get affected at some point if they share screen space.
Editor Mohan roped Jagapathi Babu and Arjun as heroes of 'Hanuman Junction'. This commercial entertainer became a big hit. Because of this movie, Jagapathi Babu and Arjun became close buddies.
