Superstar acquires Rajni's film rights

In a surprising move, a Superstar has acquired the rights of another Superstar's film. We are talking about Rajnikanth's "Kabali" and its Malayalam rights.
Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal has done the unthinkable as his production house 'Max Lab' acquired the Kerala distribution rights of Kabali for a whopping sum of Rs. 7.5 crores. With the hype surrounding the film and also the way Rajni has impressed with his salt and pepper look, it seems like Mohanlal don't want to miss the chance of scoring hit with this flick as distributor.
