The popular reality TV show Bigg Boss made its inroads into India with Hindi version first. As Hindi version turned out to be successful, the organisers started regional versions last year in Telugu, Tamil, Marathi. They have started in Bengali as well. Now, Star network is going to commence the Bigg Boss in the Malayalam language.
The show is going to commence this Sunday. Star network has approached Malayalam Superstar Mohan Lal for hosting the show and he gave his nod. The reports are coming out that Mohan Lal reportedly charged a bomb for hosting the show. They are paying Rs. 12 crores for the show as per the reports. Mohan Lal's remuneration is three times to Nani's remuneration in Telugu. Mohan Lal's remuneration for Bigg Boss has become a hot topic.
The organisers have already selected 16 participants from Kerala for the show. They are going to conduct the show in the Bigg Boss house in Mumbai. The show will run for a period of 100 days similar to Telugu. As Bigg Boss regional language versions became successful, they are expecting Malayalam version to be successful.
