MOM BO: Slow Start but Biz Picks Up!

Sridevi-starrer 'MOM' had a slow start despite wide release. Positive Reviews & Terrific Word-of-Mouth has been translating into solid Box Office figures.
On Day 1, 'MOM' managed to collect just Rs 2.90 crore in the domestic market. But, A growth of 75.17% has been witnessed on Day 2 (Rs 5.08 crore) to take the two days revenue to Rs 7.98 crore. On Sunday, This female-centric movie is expected to collect anywhere around Rs 7 crore or if not close to Rs 10 crore. First Weekend Nett is going to be over Rs 15 crore.
'English Vinglish', the previous Hindi flick of Sridevi, released in the year 2012. Seems like, 5 Years wait of Sridevi to chose the right subject has paid off. Once again, 'MOM' made people realize why Sridevi was able to survive for 50 years in the Industry and how she managed to complete 300 films.
