Theatres All Set To Reopen From December 4
By: Tupaki Desk | 3 Dec 2020 11:20 AM GMTMovie theatres in Telangana are all set to reopen from December 4. Earlier, the Telangana government had said that cinema halls could be opened following Covid 19 rules. But, the Theater Owners' Association, after several rounds of talks, decided to prepare the theatres for the screening from December 4.
Although the government allowed ticket prices to be adjusted according to their circumstances, the theatre owners decided to keep the prices unchanged. The exhibitors stated that the comfort and protection of the audience is now their main goal.
Arrangements are being made for producers who want to release movies. Theatres owners are preparing the screens in advance as it will take some time to create the buzz for the campaign. Exhibitors, however, are sceptical of any response from the audience as the government only allows 50 per cent seating.
After looking at the audience response, a final decision will be made on how many shows to put on per day. However, the future of the exhibitors and producers depends on the collections.
