Multiplexes Says No Screening For OTT Releases!

It is known that the central government gave permissions for movie theatres and multiplexes to restart again from October 15th as a part of the unlock process. The theatre owners are now making arrangements to start screening films once again by taking all the safety measures.
They are in talks with the local governments too regarding the practicalities. People are interested in finding out the films that are going to be released first. There are a few films which were released directly on OTT platforms during the lockdown. There was a talk that the theatres may open with these films as they weren't able to get enough recognition through digital releases.
But the multiplex authorities across the country are adamant on not screening the digital releases. They reportedly came to a conclusion regarding not releasing these films in big screens. Sources say that they are looking for either new films or dubbing movies that can attract masses. Insiders say that OTT releases may not have the luxury of have big screen releases once again now.
