Generally, All the projects of AR Murugadoss have a universal subjects and hence the remakes have done equally well, be it Tagore, Ghazini, Thuppakki & Khaidi No.150. The comeback flick of Megastar stood as 2nd Biggest Grosser of Telugu Cinema and drew the attention of B-Town Stars.
Earlier, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar were approached for 'Kaththi' Hindi remake. Both of Stars preferred not to sign it for reasons best known to them.
Finally, Hrithik Roshan has given his consent for the Hindi remake. Murugadoss who is currently busy shooting for Mahesh's 'Sambhavami' has asked a team of writers to make settled changes to the script to suit the Hindi nativity. 'Kaththi' remake could be the next project of Murugadoss after 'Sambhavami'. A Top Heroine in Hindi Film Industry will be roped to essay Hrithik's love interest.
