This Akira is not Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's son but in fact AR Murugadoss upcoming Hindi action thriller which has Sonakshi Sinha in lead role. Murugadoss has struck gold in Bollywood with his blockbuster debut film Ghajini and his second film Holiday which was the remake of his Tamil film Thupakki also proved as hit.
For his third film the supremely talented director chose to make an action thriller titled Akira. The film release date was announced officially as September 23 and Murugadoss is wrapping up things accordingly.It's known that Muragadoss is going to direct Mahesh for his next telugu-tamil bilingual. Murugadoss is simultaneously engaged in the pre-production activity of the film.
Mahesh upcoming telugu film Brahmotsavam shooting has come to end and the film will hit screens by end of may. Initially Mahesh planned to start the film shoot after he finished Brahmotsavam. Close sources reveal that Mahesh needs to wait for a while as Akira will have to hit the screens on Sep 23.
