Star director AR Murugadoss is getting ready for the release of his latest film 'Spyder' starring Mahesh Babu. As the movie release is nearing, Murugadoss started giving interviews to for the promotion of 'Spyder'. In a recent video interview to a Tamil channel, Murugadoss revealed some intricacies of bilingual and handling a Superstar like Mahesh Babu.
When he was asked that 'Mahesh babu is a Superstar In Telugu but he is like a debut hero in Tamil. In such a situation, how did you handle his characterisation?' Muruga gave a detailed answer to this question. He said that 'Commercial film in Telugu is different from Tamil. Commerciality will be very high hardcore & raw in Telugu whereas we have certain limitations for commerciality in Tamil. We can't go overboard. Mahesh Babu is a very big Superstar in Telugu. Handling him in Telugu will be totally different. If we show the same heroism in Tamil for him, the audience may get disconnected with the film. So I had to do a lot of balancing act for each and every scene for 'Spyder'. The story of the film will have this balance. The heroism will come from the screen play and story, not just for the sake of showing heroism."
'Spyder' is slated for the worldwide release on September 27 amid huge expectations. We have to wait and see how Murugadoss is going to meet those expectations.
