Sania Mirza doesn't really want to change her family name but she wants her kids to have a new family name.
Normally, in Indian families, kids carry forward male partner's or husband's family name and the mother's family name also changes.
Sania Mirza at Goa Fest 2018, said that she wants a change in this ritual and her kids will have new family name combining both their families.
That is, they will have Mirza-Malik as their family name and the actress also said that she and her husband, cricketer, Shoaib Malik, wish for a girl child, opposing to all the female discrimination in the world.
She revealed that she had a discussion with her husband on this issue and they have come to a solution that their children will take forward both their family names, as Mirza-Malik.
