My Mother suffered for 7 Years: Nagarjuna

Extending support to the Palliative Care Treatment, Akkineni Nagarjuna got emotional while mentioning about his parents suffering due to cancer in the last stages at the inaugural International Conference of Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPCON-2015) in Hyderabad.
The actor with moist eyes told he feels happy when he remembers his father and felt sad everytime he remembers his mother. "My Mother suffered for 7 Years due to health complications. Even though we could afford the best medical treatment, Not even one doctor suggested as Palliative Care Treatment," he complains.
Nag, however, feels happy that at least doctors started practicing Paliative Care Treatment when ANR was in the final stages of his life. He says the medical morphine and counselling sessions were really healpful to the family. He adds, 'Neither Terminally ill patients should die in pain nor their families undergo the trauma'.
