Bollywood Queen Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika is releasing on 25th January and the actress has been promoting the film aggressively.
She, in the beginning, said that Krish is the director of the film and she just directed few parts in his absence.
Later, she said she just directed 30% of the movie and Krish directed 70% of the film. Slowly, she started saying that she is the director of the film and Krish name got overshowded mostly.
Now in an interview for a National daily, she said, "Krish wanted to make the movie like a revenge drama. Story of Rani of Jhansi, Lakshmi Bai, cannot be just a revenge drama.
I made it into a Patriotic and progressive film that talks about Women Empowerment as well. His version doesn't have the span for such a film and my version is definitely better than what he planned.
Actors walked out because of that but producers liked mine even better and people will also find the movie engaging and interesting."
Krish did say that the team has changed the story in his absence and it is historically inaccurate as well.
