Sharing his views on the gender/pay parity, Abhishek Bachchan made it clear market and bankability of an Actor decides his or her remuneration. He didn't hesitate to say, 'My Wife Aishwarya got paid more than Me in 8 out of 9 films we acted together. Deepika Padukone was the highest-paid Actor in 'Piku'. Ultimately, It's a business...salability decides the payment. Can a new actress demand as much as that of Shahrukh Khan?'.
Responding on the #MeToo Movement, Jr Bachchan advised people to stop character assassination first of all and listen before passing judgement. 'Have no idea what could be the end result, but I am sure it will make people aware & that's a welcome sign'.
