Gang Leader Makers Relieved...Thanks To Varun Tej!

Among the two films slated to the release on September 13th, 'Valmiki' had a clear upper hand over 'Gang Leader'. In fact, Harish Shankar welcomed the clash when Nani announced the release date of his upcoming flick.
Makers of 'Gang Leader' began feeling the heat after the release of posters, teaser and promo song in the recent weeks. Buzz for this Nani-starrer is no where close to that of Varun Tej's mass entertainer. That is when Mythri Movie Makers made the Producers Guild intervene in the matter. Fortunately for them, Varun Tej agreed to shift the release of his movie even though he is capable of throwing the challenge with a solid project in his hand.
During the press meet meant to announce the news, Dil Raju had specifically thanked Varun Tej, Harish Shankar and 14 Reels Plus because they made a sacrifice. He went on to say both films will get benefited if the clash is averted as they aren't releasing during festivals or on holidays.
Makers of 'Gang Leader' can't afford to take the risk of arriving on September 20th because they will be in bigger trouble if 'Valmiki' hits the bull's eye on September 13th. That is why they are very particular about having solo release on September 13th.
