Legend doesn't deserve that award - Shankar

N.Shankar, the famous activist and filmmaker, has been vocal about Telangana state movement and many social issues right from the start of his career. He has shared many opinions and even criticised many filmmakers for trying ti establish a monopoly. Such a man will be asked about the latest on-goig controversy.
He came to a debate on a famous News Channel and said, "Nandi Awards seem to be given to those who deserve mostly. I think the problem here is with Legend being honoured the best picture. The movie promoted violence and that's the reason for this backlash. There is no difference of opinion about this. When it comes to selecting best director and actor, giving them to Boyapati Srinu and Balakrishna doesn't attract this much debate. But saying such a violent film, best is debatable in my opinion."
N. Shankar is now busy shooting the last schedule of his comedy, Two Countries with Sunil as the lead actor. The movie could release in January or February as per the latest information from various media reports.
