Blockbuster producer gave up 'Two Countries'

'Two Countries' is a hit Malayali film that released last year. The film deals with a guy (Dileep) dreaming to go to foreign country Canada by marrying a girl (Mamatha Mohandas) on a condition. It's a super hit.
Sometime back it's heard that this film will be remade by Venkatesh in Telugu. With this senior star hero scoring back to back hits with remakes, many thought this would happen. Surprsingly in February this year, 'blockbuster' producer Bandla Ganesh announced that he acquired remake rights of the movie and will produce it with a big star.
News has that Ganesh has now sold off the rights and director N Shankar is now going to produce-direct the movie on his own. One wonders what made Ganesh give up this film.
