This is not about Pawan Kalyan or Mahesh Babu films. The hero who rose to such standard in market that he can also command the same level of business like Mahesh and Pawan films, is Allu Arjun. The young actor even though started 5 to 6 years after them, he slowly started increasing his market with good films and well calculated combinations.

His previous movie, Duvvada Jagannadam is said to be made on a budget of 60 to 70 crores by the director of the film, Harish Shankar and producer, Dil Raju said that he did earn profits but few buyers had minimal losses. Also, the movie is highly publicised to have grossed more than 100 crores for the Eid holidays and it is widely, believed to be a big success for Allu Arjun. With such success adding to his films Sarrainodu, S/O Satyamurthy and Race Gurram, he is believed to be one of the most popular heroes of Telugu Cinema and his next film, Naa Peru Surya, is said to be his most expensive film.

Producers Naga Babu and Lagadapati Sridhar are spending more than 80 crores on the film. As per the reports, half of the budget is spent on cast, technicians and their salaries it seems. Vishal -Sekhar are giving music to this film with Vakkantham Vamsi directing a movie for the first time. Anu Emmanuel, Arjun Sarja, Sarath Kumar are confirmed as part of the cast. Only through Satellite and digital rights, the producers are expecting 25 crores and in Telugu states, 40 crores business from Andhra Pradesh state and 20 crores from Nizam or Telangana state is expected in pre-production release. So, a total of 100 crores is expected, with Overseas rights and other language rights included. The makers have decided to release an 80 second teaser on 1st of January.
