'Naandhi' Teaser: Brutal And Intense!
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 Jun 2020 4:33 AM GMTOn the occasion of Allari Naresh's birthday, the team of his 57th film 'Naandhi' released a special teaser and it is very hard-hitting. 'Naandhi' is definitely not any regular film but deals with the injustice and brutality against innocent people in jail.
The teaser starts with Harish Shankar's voiceover where he gives away a few facts about how many prisoners are behind the bars without proper reason and state of jails in India till 2015.
Naresh makes his entry as a prisoner who is then strip-searched and then beaten badly. He is being tortured brutally by the police officials and his escapes to break out from the prison are also showcased. The ending is quite intense with Naresh asking if justice will ever be served or not.
Naresh took a very bold step by accepting this film and he did a terrific job in portraying the role of an innocent prisoner. The plot reminds us of the recent atrocity of Tamil Nadu police against a father and son. 'Naandhi' also resembles acclaimed Tamil film 'Visaranai' directed by Vetrimaaran in some aspects.
Technically, the teaser is great with authentic and realistic visuals of Sid, touching and thrilling BGM from Sricharan Pakala and we need to appreciate Vijay Kanakamedala for attempting a film like 'Naandhi' for his debut. Produced by Satish Vegesna, 'Naandhi' made a real impact with its teaser.
