Madhavi Latha of 'Nachavule' fame slammed Telangana Government for giving too much importance to VIPs and neglecting the people who voted it to power. 'Just because Ivanka Trump is visiting Hyderabad, There is so much of hungama…cleaning, painting & etc., When our President visited US, What had they done specially? Does that mean they don't knew how to respect us? or They don't have the necessity to do any such hungama as proper roads have been maintained all the time. Which means development is far away from us,' she opined.
The Actress quipped Government should wake up at least now as there willn't be any need for hungama if the same facilities were maintained in the best interest of common man. Expressing her anguish on restrictions imposed by Police citing security reasons, She alleged Government only cares about the lives of VIPs not public.
Claiming to be unaware of how many projects does these VIPs would bring, Madhavi Latha said people have been facing lot of hardships because of them. She further added, 'Shamelessly, We vote for the same leaders again. Public feel content whenever roads were laid for VIP. Actually, We should be proud when roads are laid for us. Am ashamed of our lifestyle. I don't bother who likes and who doesn't like my post, I didn't like the policies of our Government..that's all!'.
