Nadigar Sangam Polls Scrapped..Vishal In Shock!
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 Jan 2020 8:19 AM GMTThe Madras High Court left the members of Vishal's Panel stunned by declaring that the Nadigar Sangam (South Indian Artists Association) Elections held on July 23rd 2019 as null and void. It even appointed a Retired High Court Judge B Gokul Dass as an election officer for the fresh polls to be conducted within three months.
Few years ago, Vishal's Panel comprising of Nasser and Karthi won against Sharath Kumar's Panel by levelling corruption charges. In the past couple of years, Even Vishal's Team faced so much criticism and few allegations. Tamil Film Industry got divided into two groups because of the Nadigar Sangam issue. Six months ago, Vishal's Team & Bhagyaraja's Team fought against each other in the Nadigar Sangam Elections. However, Counting of the votes was kept on hold after few members moved the Madras High Court against the polls. While Vishal's Panel is contemplating on challenging the High Court order, Bhagyaraja's Panel has welcomed the directions given by the court.
Opponents would target Vishal & Co., making use of the High Court order. They would certainly question why Vishal's Panel is scared to face fresh elections if there is a possibility of emerging victorious. This is going to be a very tricky situation for the 'Pandem Kodi' Actor.
