Nag sentimental reason behind Big B cameo

Akkineni Family Multistarer, Manam is all set for release on May 23rd. The movie has managed to create good interest in audience with its posters and trailers.Bollywood Big Man, Amitabh Bachan will be seen in a guest role in Manam.
One may thought Big BÂ’s cameo is just for commercial purposes but Nagarjuna had a sentimental reason behind it. It is said that ANR is a big fan of Amitabh Bachahan and would not miss any film of the actor when he was alive. So, Nagarjuna thought Big BÂ’s cameo will be a good tribute to the legendary actor.
While speaking in an interview Nagarjuna recently revealed why Big B was cast in the film in such a small role and why did the legend accept the offer. Nag said the following in a statement.
‘’ My father always thought of Bachchan saab as one of the finest actors we have. I thought just having him in my film would be an honor to my father’s memory. When I asked him, he immediately agreed. We didn’t want Bachchan saab’s appearance to be made public. We wanted it to be a surprise. But nothing he does can remain undisclosed. It’s just a cameo.’’Nag said
ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya are acting as grandfather, father and son roles in this movie and is being directed by Vikram Kumar, who recently tasted a hit with ‘Ishq’.
