Mega Brother Naga Babu tried his luck as an actor but he didn't taste success. Then he became a producer and produced films under Anjana Productions banner. Somehow he couldn't taste big success. His last production venture 'Orange' starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan turned out to be a disaster and he suffered huge losses. There is a talk that he suffered financially after the 'Orange' result.
Naga Babu didn't produce any film for nearly a decade after the disastrous result of 'Orange'. Now, he is back to production with Allu Arjun film 'Naa Peru Surya'. Naga Babu acted as the co-producer for this film. During the promotional interviews of 'Naa Peru Surya', he was asked why he is producing a film with nephew rather than making a film with his son who is on success track with two back to back hits. Naga Babu didn't mince his words in giving his reply.
He said 'My son scored two hits. He has many films in his kitty now. But I don't like to earn money by using his success. I might produce a movie with him in future if everything falls into place." Naga Babu gave a genuine answer.. isn't it?
Naga Babu son Varun Tej is presently working on a space thriller directed by Sankalp Reddy of 'Ghazi' fame and a multi starrer movie 'F2' with senior hero Victory Venkatesh.
