Why Naga Chaitanya apologized to the Director?

After a film like 'Karthikeya', No Director would attempt a Remake subject. However, Chandoo Mondeti took up 'Premam' remake only due to the admiration towards Nagarjuna and the rapport he shares with Naga Chaitanya.
At the audio launch, Naga Chaitanya admits: 'Asking a Director of Chandoo's calibre to take up a Remake subject is a big mistake. After the release of 'Premam', I am ready to work with him again but with a script penned by him. I will also be working with this producers again'.
Chaitu thanked Akkineni Fans for their unconditional support irrespective of hits & flops. 'Our intention was never to outshine the Original or do better than Malayalam Hero. We did this movie appreciating all the Technicians who worked for the Original. Similarly, The Malayalam Technicians would appreciate us after the release of Telugu version. Everyone has put in a lot of effort, hence it will be liked by all the movie buffs,' he exudes confidence.
