Naga Chaitanya kickstarts his maiden OTT project for Amazon Prime

Naga Chaitanya Akkineni is a changed man after the divorce. He has been on a signing spree of late and he is not showing any signs of slowing down just yet.
The Akkineni hero recently scored a box office hit with the recent theatrical release Bangarrraju which made the most out of the Sankranthi holiday season release and fared pretty well at the box office.
Chaitanya has now commenced shooting for his forthcoming OTT project which will also mark his debut in the OTT space. Chaitanya has started shooting for his maiden OTT web series which is being produced by Amazon Prime Video.
A snap of Chai shilling out on the sets of this web series which has been titled Dootha has surfaced on the internet and it is going viral. We get a peek at Chai's look but nothing is clear.
Chaitanya has undergone a minor makeover for the OTT project. He is sporting a moustache look and looks dapper. The Akkineni hero will be seen as an investigative journalist in the series which is being directed by creative filmmaker Vikram K Kumar.
Chai is willing to go the extra mile for this OTT series as it will be his maiden venture in the OTT space and it will offer him the chance to cater to a wide section of the audience.
Previously, Samantha made a sparkling debut in the web space with The Family Man 2. The actress attained stardom in the Hindi belt with this series. Now, Chaitanya too is hoping to expand his market with this series which is being mounted on a lavish scale.
Chai will be playing an author backed role in the series which is billed to be a horror thriller with a new-age plot. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead in the series. More details about the cast and crew will be out in the days to follow.
