He is the one who inspired even Dilip Kumar to do the character in a certain way. The story by Sharath, legendary Bengali writer became such a classic that many wanted to try different iterations of the story as writers, films and theatre dramas.
Now, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is looking to try another modern version of the classic story, written by Vijayendra Prasad, it seems.
Nagarjuna maintauns friendly relations with the writer and family from Rajanna time, and he asked the writer to come up with a story for Naga Chaitanya it seems.
He came up with this love story, so that the image of the actor will also be a plus for the film.
Naga Chaitanya too is looking to build a reputation among youth and families with love stories for another few years, before trying action films again, it seems.
