Mahanati Gets ANR

Keerthy Suresh is going to play the role of Mahanati Savitri in the upcoming prestigious movie titled Mahanati. The film is one of the awaited biopics in the Tollywood film industry right now. The film also has Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey in the principal roles. The makers initially approached Chay Akkineni for ANR and JR NTR for SR NTR roles. Both of them denied the offer but finally, we came to know that Naga Chaitanya accepted to play the role of ANR in the movie.
But JR NTR is firm about his decision and is not showing interest to be a part of the project. With no other option, the film unit decided to use digital graphics to recreate SR NTR in the film. Naga Chaitanya, on the other hand, allocated two days for the shoot of his portion of the movie.
Nag Ashwin is the director of the film, and Vyjayanthi movies banner produces the movie. The film has music scored by Mickey J Meyer. Mahanati is scheduled for a grand release by the end of Summer.
