Story behind @ Symbol In Narthanasala Title
By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Aug 2018 8:05 AM GMTBased on the Virata Parva of the Indian epic, 'Narthanasala' movie starring NTR came out in the 1960s. It is still considered as one of the classics in Tollywood. After so many decades, a young hero dared to touch the title of that classic. He is none other than Naga Shourya.
After 'Ammamagarillu' turned out to be a disaster, Naga Shourya has pinned all his hopes on his upcoming movie '@Narthanasala'. Initially, the makers kept the title as 'Narthanasala' but later added '@' before the title. Revealing the reason behind @, 'Narthanasala is a classic film. After that, so many movies with that title were supposed to come out but because of various reasons got shelved in the middle. One of the movies was planned by Nandamuri Balakrishna. My father told this to me and because of the negative sentiment, we added @ before the title to prevent the obstacles. Except for the title, there are no similarities between the films. The story is about how would it be if two girls fall in love with a man who is gay" said Naga Shourya.
Director Srinivasa Chakravarthy is marking his directorial debut with this film. Shourya stated that the director will become soon after the release of the film. He also revealed his upcoming project details. Naga Shourya signed a project with another debutante Teja and has two more films in his hand.
