'Soggade Chinni Nayana' starring Nagarjuna under the direction of Kalyan Krishna kurasala turned out to be a super hit. Nag always had plans of making a sequel of this movie with the lead character 'Bangarraju' as the title.
Both Nag and Kalyan Krishna wanted to do the film, but it hasn't got materialized yet. It seems like Kalyan Krishna has narrated the script to Nag, but failed to impress him. So, Nagarjuna asked him to come up with a better script. As per the latest reports, Nag has finally given the green signal for 'Bangarraju' script after making so many modifications. Another interesting snippet about the movie is that Nag's 'Don' co-star Anushka Shetty is in talks for the female lead of 'Bangarraju'.
Anushka also made cameo appearances in so many of Nag's films including 'Soggade Chinni Nayana'. Kalyan Krishna's recent film 'Nela Ticket' ended up as a dud. Nagarjuna is working on Marakkar in Malayalam and Brahmastra in Hindi. His 'Devadasu' with Nani is slated to get released on 27th September.
