Akkineni Nagarjuna is known for his film choices and delivering surprise hits at the box office with unusual films and young directors. This time he did a multi-starrer with Nani, Devadas and it released on 27th September.
Movie did not take a huge opening but collected an amount close to Rs.7.5 crores as share Worldwide on the first day. Movie is expected to run well as it gained above average talk.
Now, the movie post release promotions are highly important and Nani is available for them but Nag, isn't! The rumours are that the actor did not believe the movie will get positive talk and hence, he went ahead with the plans of taking an holiday to celebrate his son's marriage anniversary.
He did say that to the producers long back it seems. As it is first anniversary, he wanted to savour the memory it seems. He could have cancelled or postponed his plans had he had any confidence, as per few rumours and buzz makers.
In any case, if Vyajayanthi Movies decides to put in as much efforts as they can in paper and TV publicity, the family audience, real strength could come out to watch the film!
