Postponement of 'Saaho' from August 15th to 30th benefitted 'Manmadhudu 2' more than any other flick. Had if the Prabhas-starrer released as per schedule, Several Movie Buffs could have skipped watching the romantic entertainer on August 9th to watch the action flick on August 15th. But now, 'Manmadhudu 2' will be the first preference of movie buffs even though two films (Ranarangam, Evaru) were releasing on the Independence Day.
A Partial Holiday (Varalakshmi Vratham) on Aug 9th and Two Public Holidays (Bakrid - Aug 12th, Independence Day - Aug 15th) could be helping 'Manmadhudu 2' in the revenue generation. With good reviews and positive word-of-mouth, This Rahul Ravindran-directorial can overpower both 'Ranarangam' and 'Evaru'.
Gangster flick 'Ranarangam' and Crime Thriller 'Evaru' appeals to a limited section of audience. Whereas, Romantic Entertainers with family emotions appeal to a wider section of people. In that way, 'Manmadhudu 2' has got an upper hand for now.
Ultimately, Content decides who will be having the last laugh. It could be any flick among the three or all the three!
