As the second death anniversary of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, the Legend of Telugu Cinema and the one who was instrumental in shifting TFI to Hyderabad from Chennai, is approaching (January 22nd, 2016), Fans & Film Lovers wish to know if the statue of Iconic Actor in Annapurna Studios will be unveiled at least now.
No one knew what could be the exact reason for the long delay. Is Nagarjuna waiting for the right moment to install the statue of his father or Whether there are other reasons behind 2-years wait.
Post the demise of his wife Annapurna, ANR installed a statue of his better half in Annapurna Studios and spent most of the time in its company. After his death due to cancer, There was strong buzz that statue of ANR will come up beside that of Annapurna's idol. However, Nothing of that sort happened till date and die-hard fans who believed these reports were disappointed.
