Akkineni Nagarjuna is planning the release dates of his films so well. We have seen how well his move to release 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' for Sankranthi paid off. This time, He capitalized on the change of 'Brahmotsavam' release date and delay in the announcement of 'Sarainodu' outing.
'Oopiri' starring Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamanna is going to be the first release of Summer 2016. March 25th has been locked as the release date of this feel-good entertainer.
Analysts say, Its really clever move by Nagarjuna as first film of Summer will have a huge advantage. Availability of huge number of screens, Holiday Season and the fact that IPL next edition starts only in the first feel of April were the positives.
Touted to be a Telugu remake of french drama 'Intouchables', 'Oopiri' is based on the bonding between a quadriplegic patient and his caretaker. Vamsi Paidipally directed it & PVP produced it. Gopi Sunder composed Music.
