Nagarjuna Says Strict No For 'MEB' Digital Release?
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 Aug 2020 5:13 AM GMTWith movie theatres closed, the producers are persuading the heroes to release the films on OTT platforms as they don't have a hope that people will come to the cinemas even after the theatres get open. As of now, several small films premiered on digital platforms skipping the traditional theoretical release.
In the same way, the makers of Akkineni Akhil's upcoming film, 'Most Eligible Bachelor' wants to go for a digital release.
As per the reports, the makers dialled Nagarjuna to ask his permission over releasing the film on OTT. However, Nagarjuna politely denied their proposal saying that he wants the film to release on the big screen at any cost. Since Akhil bagged three straight flops, the veteran actors feel that releasing the film on OTT may destroy the market of Akhil.
It is also heard that Nag is ready to help the producer if it is a financial burden for him. If not Sankranthi, it may be released next summer. Since there is no looking for alternatives, the makers have ample time to finish the film.
