A Film Personality who took part in the TV Channel debate on Nandi Awards addressed Posani Krishna Murali as 'Mental Krishna'. Quickly, He covered it by saying, 'We call him in that manner affectionately'. This comment led to the debate - Who is the actual Mental Krishna?
In the firing episode at his residence post the release of 'Chennakesava Reddy', Balakrishna injured Producer Bellamkonda Suresh and got admitted in NIMS Hospital to escape arrest. A high drama took place at that point of time. Balakrishna obtained a certificate that his mental condition isn't fine and he even received counselling at the Erragadda Mental Hospital. Then NIMS Director openly claimed he was the one who saved Balayya in that case.
TRS Leader Gattu Ramachandra Rao mentioned the whole episode and asked everyone to decide who is the actual Mental Krishna. 'Should we call Posani who spoke facts as Mental Krishna? or Do we need to treat Balakrishna who obtained certificate that he is mentally unfit as Mental Krishna? Decide by yourself,' he asked.
