Whenever there is a super hit in Telugu, other language makers try to remake the film in their language. It is known that 'Arjun Reddy' remake rights were sold like hotcakes. Similarly, Telugu filmmakers try to remake the hit films of other languages. The latest talk from the Film Nagar reveals that director Nandini Reddy is planning to remake Bollywood hit film 'Hindi Medium' into Telugu.
Hindi Medium is a comedy-drama starring Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar. The story of the film revolves around the parents who planned to join their 5-year-old daughter into a reputed English Medium school. As their not English-literates, they have to go through several troubles. The movie is a kind of satirical comedy on the corporate school system and English medium craze. The movie became a commercial hit and received critical acclaim as well.
Nandini Reddy said to have approached Venkatesh for the remake. She is considering the title 'Telugu Medium' for the film as per the talk. It is interesting to see whether Venky gives green signal to this film or not. There were several reports in the past that Venky is considering some remake films but none of them were actually materialised. We have to wait for some more time to know whether 'Telugu Medium' will materialise or not.
