Nani Got Decent Opening In US, Ghattamaneni Didn't

Two Telugu films 'Awe!' and 'Manasku Nachindi' released on this Friday. Though both of them are not crazy films, Nani production 'Awe!' created some buzz among the audience with its interesting promos when compared to Manjula Ghattamaneni's directorial debut 'Manasuku Nachindi'.

'Awe!' literally shocked the audience with its different content and it received mixed reactions from the audience. Tollywood celebrities are showering praises on Nani for producing such a different subject with fewer chances of commercial viability. It is really interesting to see how far it tastes success at the box office with its limited appeal. If we talk about US collections, 'Awe!' started off well with $126K from premiers which is pretty decent.

On the other hand, Manjula Ghattamaneni's 'Mansasuku Nachindi' didn't impress the audience at all. The movie received flak from the reviewers as well. Though Mahesh Babu attended the promotions of his sister's film, there is no impact in the collections. Opening collections of 'Manasuku Nachindi' in the US were around $8,593 through premiers. It is known that Mahesh Babu is known as the king of Overseas market. But his sister couldn't cash on his image with her uninteresting film.
