Natural Star In Tiger Biopic

Making a biopic is a trend in Tollywood now. Though planning for several biopics has been going on since last year, the success of 'Mahanati' made the filmmakers think about the biopics as the best option to score a hit.
NTR biopic, YSR Biopic are already on the sets and several other projects are in the planning stages. One of them is the biopic of a notorious robber Tiger Nageswara Rao hailing from Stuartpuram. He robbed the banks and houses in the various towns and cities of the then Andhra Pradesh. He was shot dead in an encounter by police in 1987.
Director Vamsi Krishna of 'Kittu Unnadu Jagratha' fame has been working on the script for some time. He has initially approached Rana Daggubati to play the dreaded robber role. Though Rana has shown interest to play the role initially, he backed out later because he gave a green signal to another biopic based on famous Telugu wrestler Kodi Ramamurthy Naidu.
The latest talk from the Film Nagar says that Natural Star Nani gave his nod for the Tiger Nageswara Rao biopic. Nani is of the opinion that this kind of a serious character will challenge him as an actor.
