Nani's Take On 'Heroes Turning Villains'

After attaining stardom, Nani, instead of taking a regular path came out of his comfort zone and essayed several roles that brought him huge appreciation. The negative shaded role in Gentleman, a father in Jersey and a villain in the upcoming movie 'V The Film' directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti.
During the press meet of his new movie Gangleader, Nani revealed his thought process of playing a negative role when he is doing well as a hero. Nani has opened up on this interesting mode of operation in the movies, in the current times and spoke on behalf of the other heroes who are attempting this.
Karthikeya who was shot to fame with RX100 is playing a villain in Gangleader and Nani started off the topic discussing the same.
"I am confident that the heroes will not hesitate in taking up negative roles. Since the audiences these days are open to watching different kinds of roles and new stories, we are also ready to entertain them in all the ways possible. If we feel that a particular role will generate entertainment for the audiences, we do not think twice but accept it to introduce ourselves differently." said Nani about this new tradition picking up in the industry.
Mega Prince Varun Tej also played a villain now in the film Valmiki, directed by Harish Shankar. Nani will head into a clash with the same film with his Gangleader.
