After the success of Jersey, Natural Star Nani is currently gearing up for the release of his next film Gang Leader. Directed by Vikram K Kumar, this heist drama will hit the screens worldwide on September 13. The film was initially slated to release on August 30. But it was postponed to accommodate the grand release of Saaho.
Though Saaho had a grand solo release, it failed to live up the expectations and is having a dull run at the box office. The collections were extraordinary till Monday, all thanks to the long weekend, but it eventually dropped from Tuesday due to the bad word of mouth. The trade pundits analyzed that it would be perfect for Gang Leader to be preponed on September 6.
Even the makers tried to prepone the release but they backed out again due to some unknown reasons. Finally, the film will now release as per the scheduled date. But the industry sources felt that Nani missed the golden opportunity as there are no big releases this weekend.
