Not many knew, Nara Rohit wasn't the first choice for Elder Brother's role in 'Jyo Achyutananda'. Sirinivas Avasarala approached few other Young Heroes before knowing the door of Nara Hero but they turned down the proposal. Finally, A narration was given to Rohit and he immediately okayed the project. Still, The Director doubted whether or not the Young Hero would keeps his word.
Even after the approval, Srinivas Avasarala asked Nara Rohit to take two days time and thereafter inform him about his final decision. Rohit had to try hard only to make the Filmmaker believe he have no second thoughts.
Nara Rohit: 'I watched 'Oohalu Gusagusalaade' on TV and liked it very much. Just a month after the thought of why Srinivas Avasarala hasn't started his second project came to my mind, I got a call from him seeking for narration of a subject. Immediately, I said okay. I gave my consent soon after the narration. But, Srinivas has his doubts and asked me to take time for two days. Only after Producer Sai Korrapati told him about my approval, He finally believed that I have signed the project'.
