Narayana Murthy Demands For Scrapping Of Pro Corporate Agri Bills

Narayana Murthy had made a film Rythanna that highlights how the agriculture bills will impact the farmers in the country and how their interests would be hindered.
Telangana State Energy Minister G Jagdish Reddy watched Rythanna film at a theatre and showered praises on Narayana Murthy for making films on such relevant and crucial subjects.
People's Star Narayana Murthy met the Minister at his camp office. They had a brief meeting and after their meeting the duo spoke to the media. The meeting took place in Suryapet.
Speaking to the media, Minister Jagdish Reddy had urged the Centre to call off the Agriculture bills saying that these bills will not help the farmers but intensify the problems and difficulties they face.
Having said that, he credited Narayana Murthy for always making films that inspire others. Making films on farmers issues is highly appreciable, the Minister said.
R Naryana Murthy appealed to repeal the bills and said the bills will not favour the farmers but will favour the corporates. The farmers are not getting the right price for their crops, People's Star said.
The regulation of prices of crops and the food safety bills will be controlled by the corporates due to the agriculture bills. This will impact the farmers and the consumers will also face the impact indirectly, he said.
Narayana Murthy requested the Union Government to take the protests carried out by the farmers who have been protesting near the national capital into consideration.
Farmers have been protesting for around eight months appealing to the government to scrap the agriculture bills. The government should look into it, he maintained..
