This movie is directed by Ashwin Saravanan who made movies like 'Maya' and 'Game Over' before. Sathyaraj and Anupam Kher played crucial roles in this film and the early premieres suggest that the movie is quite impressive. The positive word of mouth is definitely a major boost for the movie.
Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan have bankrolled this experimental flick. This is the main reason why she showed up for promotions as well. She gave a special interview after a very long time. She revealed that 'Connect' is a perfect combination of scares and emotions. Apparently, Nayanthara loves horror movies. She said, "I love horror movies. Even though I am a little scared while watching them, I am still entertained.?
The movie revolves around a family who gets into a complex situation during the lockdown period back in 2020. Apart form loading it with thrills, the movie reportedly pays homage to all the frontline workers who put their lives on line in order to protect everyone.
Revealing about life after marriage, the 'Don Seenu' actress said that nothing changed in her life after tying the knot. She added, "When a male person gets married, nobody asks him what changes have happened in his life. But when a woman gets married, even when nothing changes, everyone is concerned."
Talking about Satyaraj, she said that he gives father vibes. She also said, "I don't have scenes with him because my character is cooped up at home and the story takes place over a Zoom video call." The lady superstar who was seen in 'Godfather' lastly in Telugu is currently doing 'Jawaan' with Shah Rukh Khan under Atlee's direction. She even become a mother via surrogacy recently.
