A particular scene in Nayantara's latest release 'Thirunaal' starrer Jeeva in lead role has stirred a controversy.
In the footage that went viral, Nayantara was seen offering presents to school kids and in return asks them to plant a kiss on her cheek. A Naughty Kid in the group stuns Nayan by kissing her on the Lips.
Although the scene doesn't appear Vulgar, Several Child and Women Welfare Organisations have launched protests demanding immediate removal of the scene from 'Thirunaal'. They complain that such scenes would only pollute the minds of kids. Both Director & Nayantara faced criticism for the poor taste. People question how can some of of Nayan's stature would blindly follow the instructions of the Filmmaker and shoot such an objectionable scene.
On the other hand, Makers of 'Thirunaal' were more than happy with the controversy as it eventually generate more revenue and give them a hope of recovering investment.
