Credit Goes To Hero Here, Director There
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 Aug 2017 5:54 PM GMTThree films released on August 11 Independence Day weekend. Three movies had good craze.. and none of them got negative talk after the release. But the box office performance of the three films is completely different from one another. Moderate budget.. strong promotions.. Rana craze.. releasing in more number of theaters worked in favour of 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri' and the movie had more opening collections. The movie finally entered the profit zone.
Even though 'Jaya Jaya Nayaka' achieved good positive talk than the other two films.. the opening collections were average as the movie lacks star value. It is doubtful whether the movie will enter profit zone in the long run or not. On the other hand, 'LIE' started off with average openings and average talk and it can't recover the investment. If we consider three films it is interesting to see who got the credit for the result of these films.
'Nene Raju Nene Mantri' is successful but the credit didn't go to director Teja. Entire credit has gone to Rana. It is an open secret that his craze.. Suresh Babu planning are the main reasons behind good opening collections of the film. In fact, the mouth talk is not that good for this film. Everybody showered praises on Rana's performance but criticised Teja direction. It is doubtful whether the movie success will be helpful for Teja career or not.
'Jaya Janaki Nayaka' situation is different. Whenever mass films become successful, major credit goes to the hero. But the situation is quite opposite here. Nobody is giving credit to Bellamkonda Srinivas. Everybody is giving the credit to Boyapati Sreenu. Audience are praising him that he could impress them even though doesn't have a star hero in the film.
'LIE' failure credit has been shared to everybody involved in the film.. hero.. director.. producers. Because Hanu Raghavapudi has chosen a good story but he made it confusing through his direction.. Nithiin tried to do a different film but he forgot the basics.. producers invested huge on Nithiin-Hanu without considering their market and they have released it amid huge competition.
