'Nene Vastunna' Teaser: Dhanush Nails The Two Roles Perfectly!

As it is known, top production house 'Geetha Arts' banner has bought the rights for Dhanush's upcoming film 'Naanu Varuvean'. They are dubbing the film and releasing it with the title 'Nene Vastunna'. Dhanush will be seen playing two contrasting roles in this film which is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Selva Raghavan.
For people who don't know, Dhanush is the younger brother of Selva Raghavan. The brothers came up with hits like Kaadhal Kondein', 'Pudhupettai', 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini and 'Mayakkam Enna' in the past. They united once again with 'Nene Vastunna' and expectations are massive on this film. The makers have released the teaser and it looks very absorbing.
As expected, Dhanush completely dominated the teaser with his astounding performance in the dual role. While one character is seen as a timid one with a regular look, the other character looks wild with long hair, a bow and arrow and cruel instincts. He is seen dancing like a madman and in one shot he is seen with blood all over his face. Interestingly, both characters are seen having wife and kids at one point but at the end, the wild Dhanush is seen snapping the neck of the other one.
The teaser did not reveal the story but managed to raise expectations. Other than Dhanush who is the heart and soul of this teaser, the background score by Yuvan Shankar Raja deserves a lot of praise. It is quite haunting and the visuals looked top-notch too. The makers claim that the movie will be released in September. The Telugu version will be released on the same day as the Tamil version. Kalaipuli S Thanu is the film's producer while Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer. Om Prakash is the cinematographer while Prasanna GK is the editor.
