Netflix And Amazon Copying Each Other's Themes!

We have a lot of OTT platforms and the most popular ones among them are Netflix and Amazon Prime. Both these streaming sites are widely used in India while Hotstar stands behind them. Both Amazon Prime and Netflix compete with each other and buy interesting films to get more subscriptions. They even produce their own content which at times looks too similar. In order to outshine each other's contents, they end up making shows and movies with the same storylines.
Recently, Vikrant Massey and Swetha Tripathi's movie 'Cargo' got released on Netflix and it shares a striking resemblance to the plot of Amazon Prime original 'Upload'. On the other hand, Netflix made 'Sacred Games' and Amazon made 'Mirzapur' as an answer to it. Not just that but they make many more films and shows that are on the same lines with different actors.
Its like both these OTT platforms are trying to make something better than the original. We also have producers like Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar who produce films for both Netflix as well as Amazon Prime and make most out of their competition.
