Some follow their idols blindly and some give the product a chance and some look at them differently. Overall, the advertiser gets the attention of people for sure.
Samantha Akkineni has been a brand ambassador for many products over the years and now, she is promoting Kurkure brand. She tweeted, on the eve of brand completing 20 years.

But her fans, some of them, thought this product endorsement is not a right choice. As Kurkure is feared to have plastic and spur up digestion problems, many are asking her to not to go through with it.
Several stars after backlash did back out from endorsing products like Maggi and Cool Drinks, but Kurkure still did not proved to be harmful and even it is not priced to be healthy snack too!
Hence, it is upto celebrities to either endorse it or not. But fans might not agree with it as they want to have their say in everything their favourites do.
